Infuriating Sides of the Media

So today at around 1PM in Hebron, Israel, almost 4 hours ago, a Palestinian woman attempted to stab an Israeli soldier near the Jewish quarter. About 30 minutes ago an article came out about the attempted stabbing which explains it pretty well. As the stabbing occurred, Israeli forces quickly opened fire to stop the woman. In this open fire a man, unrelated to the incident, was injured. the soldier who was stabbed was treated on site. And the woman who committed the stabbing was rushed to a hospital but died on the way. The Haaretz article has a great headline "Stabbing Attempted in Hebron; Attacker Shot Dead" it says mostly what is needed to know. It does though leave out her reasoning behind it, which is often difficult to understand from person to person. But I then found another article ( Please read this whole article, it is very short ) that attempts to explain the event. Just the headline proves to be terrible "Palestinian shot dead by Israeli soldier" it doesn't even say anything about the fact that this woman stabbed something. This is a very anti-Israel article that is meant to instigate more violence among the Palestinian community by showing only what Israel did instead of telling of the violence that this woman committed. There are multiple other articles of this type with no mention of the fact that it was an attempted stabbing. Media like this exists more than most people think it does. Please take the time to read multiple articles on the same subject to understand what truly happened.

Other articles that try to push the act of terrorism by the woman to the side

  1. Jacob, unfortunately, the media twists words to rile up interest in the news, and many times to sway people in their thinking. It's smart that you research the real cause to get the best perspective. What a shame to cause upset when the news words were not relayed honestly.
